Dr. Andreas König

Andreas König has more than 20 years experience in pharmaceutical industry. In his last position, he acted as Senior Vice President for corporate Quality and HSE at all of Aenovas manufacturing sites. In this position he integrated the Haupt Pharma quality units and prepared several successful FDA inspections. Prior to this he was heading Aenova’s entire manufacturing network with at that time 11 manufacturing sites. He consolidated the network by closing five manufacturing sites and bringing the volumes to the remaining sites.

Andreas was holding corporate leadership functions in quality and manufacturing at Aenova (D), Schering Plough (USA), Intervet (NL) and Fresenius-Kabi (D). In these companies he was leading complex organisations with up to 26 sites and headcounts up to more than 2000 people. He is a renowned speaker on several conferences where his passion are lectures on modern, effective and efficient quality systems. By training Andreas is pharmacist and holds a PhD from the University in Würzburg.
