Dr. Walter Bühl

Dr. Walter Bühl is a Senior Professional in pharmaceutical industry with a record of 30 years in Technical Operations and Supply Chain. During this time he held different executive and senior management positions at Heumann/Searle, Kneipp, Merckle/Ratiopharm and Teva. He is experienced in all standard manufacturing technologies and related equipment and was deeply involved in the construction of several pharma sites.

As Managing Director at Merckle/Ratiopharm he led an international site network and supply chain, including Indian operation. After the Ratiopharm acquisition by Teva he acted as integration manager for Technical Operations, set up a common supply chain organization and an IT platform for Teva Europe to connect Teva sites and EU markets. As member of the Teva European Executive Team he has broad experience in EU pharma markets. Walter has a long experience in intercultural leadership and working relations with EU, North-America, India, China and Israel.

By education Walter is a pharmacist and holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Biology from the Philipps University in Marburg.
